About Chris Stephenson

Chris is an Investor Specialist with Steadyhand. Chris earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Simon Fraser University in 2002. While at university, he co-started a tutoring company catering to high school students, which he successfully ran for three years. After graduating and traveling abroad, Chris began his career in the investment industry at HSBC. He worked at the bank for 3½ years as an Account Manager, where he advised clients on investments, credit and loans, and other financial issues. He completed the Canadian Securities Course in 2002 and earned the Professional Financial Planning designation in 2004. Chris joined Steadyhand in the spring of 2007. When he’s not talking to clients or reading eighteenth century poetry, he can be found on the basketball court trying to re-live his days of glory.
